wow

Okay it's been forever since i have blogged...time has been a little hard to get! Logan came on August 13th at 11:47 a.m. Total labor was 5 hours total :) It was the easiest thing I've ever done!! He came out 7lbs 8oz, blonde, blue eyed, double dimpled, and....very high maintenance. He's now 3 mos old and is still high maintenance, although it has gotten so much better. It's just, he wants me and only me!! He was in 3-6 mo. clothing when he was 6 wks old and is in some 96-9mo. clothing currently :) my little chunker! He's teething so that adds to it, but I'm blessed, he sleeps 8-9 hours at night!! He is definitely going to be a thumb sucker, he tries to put it in his mouth while I'm nursing him!! lol... He is my sweet boy, whom I just stare at as he sleeps watching him breathe, smile in his sleep, and I just thank God for him!! He has made our family complete in so many ways and I can't imagine life before him...I love him!!
Brooke was a little skiddish of him at first, because she thought he was a baby doll and he kept crying which freaked her out, but she loooooves him so very much and is very protective of him. She helps me more than even daddy does!! He spits up and she is on it to help him. He cries and she runs over to talk to him and rub his tummy and give him his passy. At times she is a little too much with him, trying to do stuff when he's sleeping, and learning the word "gentle" was a bit of a challenge!! There was once where she rolled him over while he was in his bassinett and she talks about it almost every day!!
We are excited for Logans first"s" in everything...and for the relationship between him and Brooke to grow and grow!! We love our family of four! I put pics on my FB because it takes too long on here!!

countdown is almost over!!!

Alot has been going on to say the least!! Brooke turned three this past Friday the 24th and we had a cute party at a spray park/park and we are so glad everyone was able to make it in the heat...including myself!! Big fiasco with her cake order getting lost, but they made it right!!
She woke up Monday morning and just said that she wanted to start going pee pee in the potty, and wearing big girl panties, which was HUUUUGE because whenever we normally ask her about it she says Nooooooooo!!! So I started that morning, Monday went pretty well for the first day, Tuesday I got a little stressed and I think she picked up on that so that day wasn't as good, Wednesday wasn't either, so I talked with two of my friends Ali and Erryn and that helped me so much, not only were their points good, but just having someone to share your frustrations with, to not be judged, and to actually get some positive help...and so I woke up with that new attitude on Thursday morning, and this morning and she has had NO accidents for the past two days and not only that she is pretty much doing it on her own, I just have to make sure I'm paying attention to her. I am prepared for bad days, because she is just starting out, but I'm rejoicing in these good days, she's really picking it up and the less stressed I get, the more she wants to do it!!
Okay, I'm hoping I go before then, but I'm scheduled to be induced August 13th at 5:30 a.m.!!! I am so so so so so excited that he will be here in less than two weeks I can't even explain it!! It's been a loooong time-a-comin!! We definitely are ready to meet our son Logan, and Brooke can't wait to hold her baby brother!! Please pray for a safe labor and delivery, and that our little boy is healthy...what more could we ask for!!
If I have your cell-phone number Justin or I will text you when he arrives, and as long as all goes well, feel free to come see us at the hospital!!! =)
